Assists in deployment, implementation, maintenance, and helpdesk support of Turner e.docs Digital Facilities Manuals and other facilities management technology solutions that optimize facilities performance. Participates in document collection and assists with data generation to implement solutions for new and existing buildings. Reviews facilities and construction project documentation, extracts essential information. Implements electronic document management file structure for floor plans, product information, warranties, O&M manuals, and other facilities documents. Coordinates as required with internal Team, construction project staff, and building maintenance and IT staff to help implement solutions. Provides helpdesk support to clients on use and updating of solutions. Reports to the e.docs Project Manager. Is responsible for the protection and promotion of the interest of Turner Corporation in all matters.
|Essential Duties and Responsibilities|
Collects and organizes large quantities of technical documentation in a patented format. Coordinates in-house and outsourced electronic and paper document collection. Digitizes hardcopy documents received from project sites. Performs other duties as assigned. Troubleshoots client software installations and provides helpdesk support via phone and web conference.
Excellent communication skills; must be willing to ask questions of coworkers and clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Must be very well organized. Must be familiar with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite. Must be a self-starter. Experience or interest in web based facilities management tools (e.g., CAFM, CMMS, IWMS, BMS) is desirable. Familiarity with building construction, and building operations and maintenance practices desirable. Must be flexible, and willing to contribute to development of innovative, “Outside the box” solutions to emerging challenges.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee may occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally visit on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
